General description of the collection: The Northwest Corner Civil War Round Table collection includes copies of a variety of Civil War materials collected by a Civil War Round Table in Northwestern Connecticut, mostly letters with several diaries and other papers; and mostly northern with a few southern contributions. The last box is all one soldier's letters from the whole war from the 13th Connecticut Infantry Regiment. The 96th Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment is represented by three large folders of material, thus making the holdings in it significant.
